Hanover Detox
For most people who are addicted to substances, detoxification is a required first step in finding sobriety. Clients who have been unable to stop using because of psychological dependency will need to admit to our Hanover, PA detox center. This initial stage can take up to two weeks, depending on their addiction history and other health concerns. Our doctors administer the detox process for each client. We do everything we can to make clients safe and comfortable throughout.

Pennsylvania Residential Addiction Program
While leaving your home is never easy, especially when you’re feeling sick, but if your objective is to get sober, joining a residential treatment program can substantially improve your chances for an effective recovery.
In our addiction residential program, clients experience intense behavioral therapies to give them a firm foundation in recovery. Our natural setting is perfect for those in early recovery.

Outpatient Program
Intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment is non-residential care designed to provide ongoing support for clients on their recovery journey. Our Pennsylvania IOP program is perfect for those who have completed a residential or a partial program and who want to continue treatment while working part-time or going to school.
In unusual cases, some clients may be suitable for our intensive outpatient program without completing a residential treatment first. However, for clients with a co-occurring mental health diagnosis, such as generalized anxiety or bipolar disorder, we advise beginning with our residential program before moving down to any outpatient programs.

Sober Living Program
Once a client has completed their addiction treatment course and is ready to transition back to their home, sober living is often the best next phase. It allows clients to practice the things that need fixing in real life. Sober living programs also allow for a more gradual transition into everyday life. Clients can usually resume some work or school and still be supported by their sober peers. In sober living, clients typically continue attending individual or group therapy in our outpatient programs.

Alumni
Even after completing our treatment modalities, our alumni group can provide inspiration on the recovery journey.

Continuing Care Program
The first year after leaving a treatment facility tests an individual’s resolve, and is often one of the most difficult. BriteLife offers continuing care programs that includes treatment referrals and support systems like telehealth with our therapists.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Doctor-supervised use of medications to treat opioid use disorder (OUD). MAT is widely recognized as one of the most important treatments for opioid addiction. It provides harm reduction by preventing cravings and dangerous withdrawals. This allows clients to focus on behavioral change without distraction.
